Removing unwanted objects in a photo using Photoshop's spot healing tool

Here's a light trail photo that I captured couple of weeks back:

As you can see, there are these wires in the foreground that destroys the picture. I tried to remove it using Photoshop. It turned out to be extremely easy thanks to the spot healing tool. This tool won't work so nice if the thing you want removed covers a lot of area, but it works perfect for small or thin objects like a wire.


Here's how I did it: Open the image in Photoshop and select the spot healing tool. You can find it in the tool panel.


Adjust the brush size to be reasonably small and start drawing over the wire.


As if by magic, the wire disappears.


Do this till whole of the wire is removed. Here is the photo after it is done.

Almost impossible to detect the Photoshopping, right?
